About Me
hello. I am Jodie Truex (Thus, True(X) Kid's Ministry and I am a Children's Pastor with a passion for ministering to children and training others to do the same! I am married to an awesome man who has served in Youth ministries for over thirty-three years. I have five wonderful children, a son and daughter in law and two precious grandchildren who I adore. I have been on staff at my current church for 19 years as their Children's Pastor and am an aspiring author of curriculum and children's books.
I am a graduate of Ohio Christian University with a BA in Christian Education and Missions. I love creating lessons, leading children in worship and finding ways to make the gospel of Jesus Christ relevant and exciting to young hearts. I love to write my own curriculums, but I also love to take curriculums and tweak them to fit my ministry needs.
I have the privilege of training and equipping teachers to better minister to children and have a blast doing so. My desire is to help children's workers use their gifts and find their giftings, potential and excitement for ministry.
